About the Ranch

Lighthouse Ranch for Boys was founded in March 1979. It is located on a beautiful 40 acre site in Southeast Louisiana. There are two 3,200 sq. ft. dorm houses capable of holding up to 25 boys. The rooms are semiprivate complete with a private bath and closet space.

The ranch also boasts of a 32,000 sq. ft. Family Education Center that houses the on-campus Christian School, the administrative offices, cafeteria, and full-size gymnasium. The ranch is also equipped with a large fishing pond.

Lighthouse Chapel is the newest facility to the Ranch. Recently constructed, it is a wonderful place for the young men to come worship and hear the preached word of God. Many lives are changed in the chapel. Lighthouse Chapel functions as a normal church: supporting missionaries, holding revivals, and is attended by residents from the local area.
